Kuwait is spelled with a "Y"?

Monty left on Friday and called us tonight from Kuwait. It was 1500 hours in Virginia and 2300 hours in Kuwait. He sounded well. He said the flight from Maine, USA took about 24 hours and went through Germany. His flight to Afghanistan was cancelled Saturday night so they are hanging out until they "beg, borrow or steal" a new one. I guess they are hard to come by. The military post in Kuwait has all the idemnities a soldier needs. Monty says they are sleeping in tents but have bunks with mattresses.
